How it works
The format stays familiar to your league; PikSheet keeps the weekly mechanics clear and consistent.
- 1One sheet holds the whole postseason: all 36 bowl games and the 11 College Football Playoff games. The games are set for you.
- 2The commissioner chooses the pick types: the winner, the spread, or both, with the total (over/under) as an optional add-on. Members pick every open game for every pick type.
- 3Matchups are announced on Selection Sunday, December 6, and each game opens for picks once both teams are set and, with spreads or totals on, its lines are posted. The later playoff games open as the bracket fills in, and PikSheet reminds members when new games are ready.
- 4A correct bowl pick scores 1 point. Playoff games score their round's points: by default ×1 in the first round, ×2 in the quarterfinals, ×3 in the semifinals and ×4 in the title game.
- 5Each game locks at its own kickoff. One standings table covers the whole sheet: the most points after the national championship wins, and total points in the title game breaks ties.
Member flow
Members pick every open game on one sheet, for every pick type, and can change any pick until its game kicks off.
Field reveal
After lock, the pool can see who picked what without chasing text threads or screenshots.
Scoring
Game results update the leaderboard according to this format's rules and history.
Postseason example (default round points)
A quick scoring example for this format.
- 1.Citrus Bowl, TEX 41–27 vs MICH: TEX and TEX −4 hit, Under 50.5 misses → 2 × 1 = 2 points
- 2.Music City Bowl, ILL 30–28 vs TENN: ILL +3 hits, TENN and Over 61.5 miss → 1 × 1 = 1 point
- 3.Rose Bowl (quarterfinal), IU 38–3 vs ALA: IU and IU −7.5 hit, Over 46.5 misses → 2 × 2 = 4 points
- 4.National championship, IU 27–21 vs MIA: IU and Over 47.5 hit, IU −7.5 misses → 2 × 4 = 8 points

How to win a Bowl Pick'em pool
Strategy that separates the season winners from the pack.
- 1Playoff games carry the weight. At the default points the 11 playoff games are worth 22 points per pick type, against 36 for all the bowls, and the title game alone counts as much as four bowls.
- 2Bowl rosters change after Selection Sunday as players opt out or transfer and coaches move on. Check who is actually playing before kickoff; you can change any pick until its game starts.
- 3Don't leave games blank. A game you haven't picked by kickoff scores nothing, and the later playoff games open weeks after Selection Sunday, so come back when PikSheet reminds you.
- 4Enter the tiebreaker early. The title game's total points can go in any time before that game kicks off, and an entry without a prediction ranks behind every entry with one.
What the commissioner controls
The games, locks and tiebreaker are set for you. Pick types, pushes and round points are editable until the postseason opens on Selection Sunday, December 6.
- Pick types: winner, spread, or both, with the total (over/under) as an optional add-on
- Pushes: count as nothing (default), as a win, or as a loss
- Round points for playoff games: ×1 to ×10 per round (default ×1, ×2, ×3, ×4); bowl games score 1
- Locks: each game at its own kickoff
- Tiebreaker: total points in the title game (always on)
- Entry fee (optional — you collect, we don't touch it)
- Max entries per member
Bowl Pick'em pool FAQ
What is a bowl pick'em pool?+
A college football postseason pool: members pick the winner of every bowl game and, on PikSheet, every College Football Playoff game too, all on one sheet. Correct picks score points, playoff games score more, and the most points after the national championship wins.
Which games are in a Bowl Pick'em pool?+
All 47 postseason games: the 36 bowl games and the 11 College Football Playoff games, through the national championship on January 25, 2027. The games are set for you; the commissioner doesn't choose a slate.
Can we pick against the spread or on totals?+
Yes. The commissioner chooses the winner, the spread, or both, and can add the total (over/under) to either. Spreads and totals come from the sportsbook and are set once, when a game opens for picks, so everyone picks against the same number.
When do picks lock?+
Each game locks at its own kickoff. You can change a pick until then, and once a game locks, everyone's picks on it show in the Field tab.
How are ties broken?+
Entries level on points rank by correct picks, then by pushes. If they're still level, the prediction closest to the title game's total points wins; an entry without one ranks behind every entry with one.
