Picking for someone else

Fill in a member's picks for them, and what you can't do.

Where it lives

Works in all seven competitive formats. Box pools use a grid instead, so this doesn't apply there.

On the Pick Sheet tab, click the amber "Pick for another entry" button next to your own entries. Search for the entry you want, and the sheet switches to their picks.

Saving takes two taps — Save Override, then a confirm — since you're changing someone else's picks.

What the pool sees

Picks you make for someone else get an Override badge. The member sees it on their own sheet, and so do you. Other members don't — the Field tab shows the pick like any other.

Your own picks are never flagged. If the member changes an overridden pick to a different team, the badge disappears. Re-saving the same team doesn't — nothing actually changed, so nothing gets sent.

Deadlines apply to you too

You can't pick a game that's locked. Same rule as everyone else, enforced server-side.

Locked isn't always kickoff — under Standard locking, a Sunday night game can lock at Sunday 1pm ET.

If a game locks mid-edit: Pick'em, High 5, Best Bet, and Confidence save your other picks and skip the locked one. Margin, Survivor, and Touchdown Calls reject the whole save — reload and retry.

What PikSheet doesn't do

  • No commissioner override for locked games.
  • No bulk clear or bulk fill across entries — one entry at a time.
